"Prague-based, award-winning company Bionaut is developing three diverse projects targeting younger audiences, designed for cinema, festivals, and TV/online distribution. “#sofiaiscool”, the third season of the International Emmy-winning short-form series, builds upon the success of its predecessors, “#martyisdead” and “#annaismissing”. Policewoman Kamila and cybercrime investigator David delve into a threatening underworld following the mysterious disappearance of young Sofia. Catering to audiences aged 12-18 and 25-45, the series will debut as a short-form series and a cinema feature. “The Axolotls”, an animated feature, follows the adventures of Axl, a young water dragon, and his sister, Lota. Confronting environmental dangers, family ties, and personal development, the focus on the exotic axolotls gives this family movie a unique appeal. ""36m2"" explores the trials of Czech filmmakers exiled from 1970s Czechoslovakia to Munich and the impact on their relationships. An adaptation of Daňa Horáková's bestseller, this gritty love story tries to uncover the dynamics leading to toxic relationships, analyse male masculinity and captivate younger audiences with its contemporary approach."
