The project includes a passenger terminal capable of processing 60 million passengers annually in its first phase, two parallel runways, extensive parking facilities, and plans to expand to four runways and additional cargo terminals by 2030. The airport aims to serve over 110 million passengers annually once fully operational, positioning Ethiopia as a pivotal aviation hub connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa. |
