“BISNet Transylvania - Services in support of business digitalization, innovation and resilience” aims at responding to the existing needs and challenges of the SMEs from RO1 in becoming more sustainable, innovative, and resilient to all kinds of shocks they are facing in an increasingly globalized and competitive business landscape. The scope of this project is to reinforce and continue the activity of Enterprise Europe Network in RO1 which was started in 2008 by 5 organizations and continued from 2015 by 7 organizations. Since the launch of the Network, BISNet Transylvania consortium has worked constantly to help the RO1 SMEs to grow internationally and grasp the opportunities offered by the EU programs and policies. The Network played a crucial role in facilitating the access of RO1 SMEs to the single and third-country markets by providing them growth-oriented, integrated business and innovation support services. Its presence in the macro-regional ecosystem has enriched the business community and delivered an impressive number of services with significant impact in terms of market positioning, cost savings, and job creation for the local companies.Based on the current needs of the RO 1 SMEs, during the next 42 months, the BISNet Transylvania consortium will help and assist the RO1 SMEs in their transition to more digital and sustainable business models through dedicated sustainability advisers and other sustainability services. Also, based on the experience and competencies of the partners (regional development agencies, research-oriented organizations, innovation and technology transfer support structures and business support structures), the consortium will support the RO1 SMEs to scale-up, innovate and become more competitive in the global markets.
