Vietxco Group (66%) and Vietnam Urban and Industrial Development Investment Corporation (IDICO) were developing the 208MW Dak Mi 4a Hydropower plant, Quang Nam Province. The project consisted of 3 plants with 2 turbines each: Dak Mi 4A, Dak Mi4B, and Dak Mi4C. Estimated annual output was 833 million kWh. The project's first turbine (Dak Mi 4A) was commissioned in January 2012. Construction started in 2007. Estimated electricity sale price in CDM document was VND 666/kWh (US$0.032/kWh). No further information was available. The project applied for UNFCCC CDM financing in April 2011. Total cost was estimated at VND 3,500 billion (US$ 167.8 million). Financial closure date was unknown. Estimated was December 2008 (based on 25% construction completion).
