The project consists of two phases: Black Hollow Sun I with 185 MW capacity and Black Hollow Sun II with 139 MW capacity, scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. The total capacity will be 324 MW, making it the largest photovoltaic installation in northern Colorado and Platte River Power Authority's largest contracted solar asset. The project is expected to power 73,000 homes and create 700 jobs. |
