Description | The Blind Creek Solar Farm and Battery project is one of the largest hybrid renewable developments in New South Wales, combining a 300 MW solar farm with a 243 MW / 486 MWh battery energy storage system. It is designed as an agri-solar development allowing sheep grazing to continue while maintaining agricultural productivity. The project aims to generate enough electricity to power over 120,000 homes and reduce emissions equivalent to removing around 200,000 cars annually. The hybrid design supports greater renewable generation and dispatches stored energy during peak demand. |
