Description | The IFC investment package is a four-year loan to the United Exports Limited (“United Exports” or the “Company”) amounting up to €3 million. The loan is shared equally (€1.5 million each) among IFC and Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. (“FMO”). The loan will help United Exports to cope with the immediate challenges of the global COVID-19 crisis and continue implementing its long-term growth plan.Established in 2002 in the Republic of South Africa, United Exports is involved in blueberries farming and trading. The Company sources blueberries from farms in South Africa and Zambia that it owns partially or entirely as well as from a number of licenses growers located in the Southern Africa region.
