The project aims to treat up to 2,464 million litres per day of sewage, transforming Mumbai's wastewater management. The seven plants are located at Worli, Dharavi, Bandra, Versova, Ghatkopar, Bhandup, and Malad, with capacities ranging from 180 MLD to 500 MLD. The project is expected to reduce untreated sewage discharge and produce 100% reusable treated water for non-potable uses and environmental sustainability. |
