Boars Head Road Sidewalk

This project is mainly for the construction of a new connector sidewalk on Boars Head Road, Saint John, New Brunswick. This section of sidewalk is 340m in length and 1.5m in width located between 399 and 515 Boars Head Road. The project will create a pedestrian connection to the Millidgeville Centre Suburban Residential Intensification Area, and will create a pedestrian connection to a Primary Corridor (important transportation routes that connect Intensification Areas and key destinations). The project scope of work also includes installing curb on the other side of Boars Head road between civic addresses 382 and 510. The total length of new curb is about 720m. The following is a breakdown of the scope of work: 1- Installing curb and side walk on one side of the street between 399 and 515 Boars Head Road 2- Installing curb on one side of Boars Head road between civic addresses 382 and 510 3- Extending the storm sewer network on Boars Head Road and connecting to existing network. This includes the installation of about 150m of pipes, 3 manholes and 6 catch basins. 4-Resurfacing the road with new asphalt ( approximately 700 tonnes) 5-Traffic line painting the resurfaced section of street 6-Landscaping repair work
