BOCCIA, PLJOČKA AND BULIN - next generation TSG 2.0

After having reached 250 school children through the implementation of the Boccia, pljočka and bulin - next generation TSG project aiming at revitalizing traditional sports and games in school settings and having met UNESCO's and the Verona Declaration recommendations regarding the introduction of traditional games which embody Intangible Cultural Heritage into school programmes, the NEXT GEN TSG 2.0 wishes to further amplify children and youth participation in ETSG through intergenerational learning, PE teachers’ action and training and experts' interventions. Main project results to be produced over an eighteen-month period such as 1 TSG school curriculum, 1 pioneering TSG toolkit for physical education teachers with lesson plan units, 3-day long TSG lecture sessions for school educators, 1 TSG Encyclopaedia and several sporting events will be entirely focused on achieving the project's specific goals. As traditional sports and games are exceptionally important identity and cultural markers of the Mediterranean area, partners involved include education institutions, sport federations and kinesiology institutes from Croatia, Italy and Spain.
