The project involves the development and commercialisation of the Bolton Advanced Zonal Program (AZP) heat network, with an estimated total investment of GBP 400 million (US$ 537 million).This project includes:Finalising the business case and investment model for the AZP heat network.Designing, building, financing, and operating a town-centre reference heat network, which is the first phase of a wider energy infrastructure roll-out.Supporting the council in achieving long-term objectives around carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and economic regeneration.Entering into a Development Agreement with the Council to secure delivery certainty and long-term operational viability.
