Boonville Mill Creek Interceptor Sewer Line and Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project

The village of Boonville is undertaking a project to improve its Mill Creek interceptor sewer line and wastewater treatment plant. The project includes upgrades to the headworks for pre-treatment and debris removal, installation of a sequencing batch reactor system for wastewater treatment, ultraviolet disinfection equipment, enhancement of solids handling capabilities, and repair of the interceptor with poured concrete and rebar to prevent erosion. The project has experienced delays due to funding but is now moving forward with a new $7 million state grant.
