Description
Description | The BEST project aims to promote the values and benefits of Taekwondo among children and youth in schools and civil society, fostering physical, mental, and social development. Aligned with EU recommendations on health-enhancing physical activity and the promotion of motor skills, the project seeks to combat sedentary lifestyles by encouraging active participation in Taekwondo and sports activities. The project aims to develop a comprehensive program based on best practices in Taekwondo and sports education, which will be piloted in two classes. By drawing from successful methodologies and approaches, the project seeks to create an effective program tailored to the needs of children and youth. Through these pilot initiatives, the project will assess the feasibility and effectiveness of the program in real-world settings, allowing for adjustments and refinements as needed. This iterative process will ensure that the final program meets the desired objectives and delivers meaningful outcomes for participants. Furthermore, the project emphasizes inclusivity by catering to children with disabilities and other social challenges, promoting gender equality, and fostering tolerance and acceptance of sports values. Through transnational collaboration, the project seeks to achieve its objectives while fostering cross-border exchanges and partnerships at the EU level. |
