The European Digital Learning Network – DLEARN is a non-profit association dedicated to advancing digital education, fostering innovation in teaching and learning through digital technologies, and supporting the digitalisation of society to build an inclusive, resilient and competitive Europe. DLEARN’s aims to contribute decisively to the achievement of a digitally skilled, innovative, and democratically engaged EU society, by promoting cutting-edge digital competences, including those necessary to address the challenges and opportunities arising from AI, big data and emerging technologies. To reach this objective, DLEARN will implement a comprehensive work programme, through: - The organisation of annual conferences and satellite conferences in Members’ countries - The delivery of online networking events, training courses, and open webinars to boost participation, capacity building, and innovation sharing - The development of 2 research per year on the future of digital Europe and training, publishing recommendation papers to influence policy reforms - Active participation in EU-wide networks to strengthen cross-sectoral Through these actions, DLEARN will raise awareness of EU policy agendas in education and training, in particular for the European Education Area and the Union of Skills, ensuring that citizens and organisations are well informed and engaged. It will increase stakeholder commitment and cooperation with public authorities for the implementation of policies and reforms in the field of education and training, supporting areas relevant to country-specific recommendations of the European Semester. It will boost stakeholder participation, including building upon the potential of digital communication, boost involvement in the dissemination of policy and programme actions, and promote active engagement in civic society and raise awareness of the EU’s common principles and values, empowering civil society to shape Europe’s future.
