Description | The projects involves the development, construction and operation of a 19.9MW Bosques de los Llanos 1 solar park located in the municipality of Puerto Gaitan in Colombia’s central department of Meta. The plant will have a 27.2MWp generating capacity. The produced energy will be sold under 15-year PPA with independent energy supplier Vatia. The sponsor is Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co Ltd. (China) via its Spanish subsidiary Trina Solar Energy Espana. Colombian development bank Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional SA (FDN) and Banco Davivienda each provided half of the $ 11.17 million debt package.
