Boston Mountain Holiday Cardboard Recycling and Burglar Box Project

under operation

The project involves the deployment of the 'Burglar Box' trailer and additional recycling trailers by the Springdale Police Department and Boston Mountain Solid Waste District to provide residents with a place to dispose of holiday cardboard boxes. This initiative aims to reduce the risk of burglaries by preventing discarded boxes from advertising new gifts to potential thieves. The project includes increased servicing frequency of recycling trailers during the holiday season and partnerships with local law enforcement and cities.
