Botswana - Public Procurement Technical Assistance Project

The estimated total project cost is UA 250,000 (USD 328,477), of which the Bank will provide UA 200,000 (USD 262,782), to be funded under the Middle-Income Countries Technical Assistance Fund (MIC TAF). The MIC grant will finance a consulting firm to undertake most activities under Components 1 and 2. Limited resources (about UA 8000) will be set aside for additional Procurement training to be delivered by a training institution. The Government will contribute the equivalent of UA 50,000 (USD 65,695) in-kind. This will finance the project management and coordination expenses, project audit and facilities for training/workshops.
