The aim of the project is to intensify existing and well-functioning cooperation between the project partners, which is complemented by new forms of cooperation between schools in the Czech-Bavarian field. The project partners will be the initiators and coordinators of the development of this expansion cooperation. The individual activities of the project will strengthen a common regional identity among the participants and create tools to maintain the network even after the end of the project. The main part of the project is regular meetings of the representatives of the participating institutions and also networking of schools and their pupils. The planned activities include meetings, workshops, joint creation of website content, worksheets and travelling exhibitions. The project is targeted at public institutions, non-profit organisations in the field of environment and schools at different levels of education (kindergarten, primary schools). Added value of the project: all partners involved have contacts with schools in the Czech-Bavarian border area that are interested in cross-border cooperation. To do this, they need an intermediary to help them overcome language barriers and find a suitable partner for further cooperation. Such established partnerships provide good conditions for long-term cooperation. No less important is the environmental undertone of the project, which will contribute to improving the environmental awareness of students and raising awareness of the common habitat in the Euregio Egrensis. It is emphasised that the river Eger knows no borders.
