Description

The project involves the management of drinking water services in the town of Bougouni, situated in the Sikasso region of Mali. The service will improve the drinking water supply to more than 45,000 people and will be delivered through 75 new solar-powered improved village water systems (IVHS). The 15-year contract was awarded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs acting through RVO, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency. The sponsor is Uduma Mali, a subsidiary of the French group Odial Solutions. RVO will finance the construction of the mini-drinking water supply systems.
