Boviet opened a solar panel factory in 2025 supporting over 300 employees. Boway Alloy agreed to sell this solar panel plant to Indian company Inox for approximately $254 million due to new restrictions from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which prevents companies linked to Foreign Entities of Concern from receiving clean energy tax credits. A second solar cell facility in Greenville, built by Boway through Boviet, is also on the market. |
