Description | The proposed project will connect the existing Eagle Cliff Water System to the Cove Bay Water System on Bowen Island, to improve drinking water quality. The Eagle Cliff treatment plant does not include filtration and turbidity has been an issue. The project works include: - installation of approximately 1300 m watermain to connect the Cove Bay System to Eagle Cliff System; - replacement of two existing culverts along the water main; - installation of approximately 9 new fire hydrants; - installation of approximately 55 service connections; and, - related works. |
