Bowen Island - Multi-Use Path: Section N1

The project will improve active transportation by constructing a multi-use path in the Bowen Island Municipality. The path will create separation between motorized and non-motorized transportation for 1.4 km from the BC Ferry terminal through town and continuing onto Artisan Square. The project will separate motorized and non-motorized transportation to protect the public on roads that have narrow shoulders for school children, visitors and island residents. The project works include: - site preparation, base preparation - installation of asphalt; - installation of retaining wall, curbs, curb cuts and gutters; - pavement markings and landscaping, and - all related works.
