Bowmanville Hospital Redevelopment - Lambert House Relocation

planned

The historic Lambert House, located on the grounds of the Bowmanville Hospital, will be moved to a new location facing Prince Street as part of the ongoing hospital redevelopment project. The relocation plan was approved by Clarington council to allow the structure to be moved through hospital property only and provide an appropriate transition between the hospital and the residential neighbourhood to the east. The fate of the house and other homes on the property will be determined by the hospital, with encouragement from the municipality to maintain structures when possible.
