"Our slate features three projects: ""Boy Underground"", ""First Day"" and ""Valdis and The Grand Duke"". ""Boy Underground"" is a feature film that centres around a map-obsessed 12-year-old autistic boy, who is desperate to win back his estranged friends. ""First Day"" is an anthology drama series. Its first season comprises 7 self-contained episodes, each taking place in a different European city with a different protagonist. The series' title refers to the premise of each episode - a character's first day on a new job. ""Valdis and The Grand Duke"" is a feature film for children which is set during Christmas time. It tells the story of 11-year-old Valdis who wins a drawing competition organized by the lonely Grand Duke of Luxembourg. With the help of his friend, Dilma, Valdis brings colour back to the Palace, to his host, and finds self-confidence in a world that eludes him. Our proposal outlines the creative and financial strategies for producing these three projects, including a provisional production financing plan and our intended marketing and distribution strategies. It also provides information about the applicant production company, DEAL SA, and our commitment to gender balance, inclusion, diversity, and environmental sustainability in our productions. With this proposal, we are asking for €60,000 for Boy Underground, €55,000 for First Day, and €45,000 for Valdis and The Grand Duke. "
