Description

BR-060/153/262/DF/GO/MG, on the stretch between Brasília/DF, Fronteira/MG and Betim/MG, was granted to CONCEBRA in an auction held in December/2013. In April 2020, CONCEBRA filed the Request for Adhesion to the Rebidding Process, which resulted in qualification in the PPI, for rebidding purposes, through Resolution No. 191, of August 25, 2021, of the Board of the Partnership Program of Investments of the Presidency of the Republic, converted into Decree No. 10,864, of November 19, 2021. Subsequently, during the feasibility studies for the highway, the decision was made to subdivide the project into 3 sections to be granted separately: BR-153/060 between Goiânia/GO and the Federal District, to be granted together with the section of BR-040 from Cristalina/GO to the Federal District, called Rota Pequi. BR-153/GO/MG, between Goiânia/GO and Fronteira/MG and BR-262, from the junction with BR-153 to Uberaba/MG, called Rota Sertaneja. BR-262/MG, between Uberaba/MG and Betim/MG, called Rota Zebu. The stretch of highways BR-153/060 connects Brasília and Goiânia, two important capitals of the Center-West, and BR-040, whose stretch to Cristalina/GO is part of this project, connects the country's capital to Belo Horizonte and to the city of Rio de Janeiro, consisting of an important link between the Central-West and Southeast regions. Furthermore, the two road sections are important connecting routes between the cities surrounding the Federal District and the country's capital, and are characterized by high vehicle traffic. The BR-060/153/262/DF/GO/MG concession project, in the stretch between Brasília/DF, Fronteira/MG and Betim/MG, was qualified for re-bidding purposes, through Resolution No. 191, of 25 of August 2021, of the Investment Partnership Program Council of the Presidency of the Republic, converted into Decree No. 10,864, of November 19, 2021.
