Description | The highway forms an important connection between the States of Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo and the Northeast States, playing a fundamental role within the national road network, as it constitutes the main link between the Southeast and Northeast Regions. On December 8, 2022, given the difficulty in fulfilling contractual obligations, ECO101, the current concessionaire, submitted a re-bidding request to ANTT, which, after evaluation by government bodies, resulted in the project qualifying under the scope of the PPI for purposes of re-bidding, as provided for in Decree No. 11,539/2023, of the Presidency of the Republic. |
