BR-101/RJ, in the stretch from the border of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo to the Presidente Costa e Silva Bridge, was granted to Autopista Fluminense in a contract signed in February/2008. In May 2020, Autopista Fluminense filed the Request for Adhesion to the Rebidding Process, which was approved by ANTT, through Deliberation No. 307, of September 9, 2021. The Agency's assessment, later corroborated by Minfra, was that the Concessionaire presents strong signs of compromising its financial situation, with a high risk of future compromising of the contract, making the request for return of the concession in line with the provisions of art. 13 of Law no. 13,448/2017.
