Bradenton Area Convention Center Expansion

completed

The Bradenton Area Convention Center underwent a $54 million expansion and renovation, resulting in 95,000 square feet of conference space. It is now the largest meetings facility between St. Petersburg and Naples, designed for small to mid-sized meetings with capacity for groups up to 800. The project includes 32,400 square feet of versatile space, a 14,000-square-foot grand ballroom, and two 16,000-square-foot outdoor plazas. The expansion was funded by tourist development tax revenues and is connected to the 252-room Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa, which is privately funded.
