The Brave Creative Producers project brings together Emanat (Slovenia), Instável (Portugal), and Kulturanova (Serbia), renowned non-governmental organisations for contemporary performing arts. They use their extensive experience, and advocate a transdisciplinary approach to empower creative producers and develop a pilot programme for collaborative learning by doing. By prioritising the expertise of independent creative producers and encouraging inter-generational exchange this project aims to improve skills and practical knowledge and promote critical thinking in production work. Brave Creative Producers emphasises the importance of close collaboration between producers, artists, and the production team and raises awareness of how art works are produced. The project aims to improve production processes in the performing arts, enforce sustainable development practices and strengthen artistic organisations. The project will result in a Capacity Building Programme for creative producers that includes the development of three artistic “Case studies”, three Workshops and an Online production course with a renowned academic, focusing on the green transition in the arts production. Finally, the project will launch an Online platform—the Producer’s Inventory—inviting international contributions with practical experience on sustainable creative production.
