Description | Objectives The project aims to train 120 judges and prosecutors with so far limited participation in transnational trainings due to language barriers, on procedural rights for suspects and accused. The training will focus on 3 MS with noted low participation in EU law transnational trainings. The approach is through targeted, participatorily-designed training, and the use of interactive and experiential learning methodologies. Activities WP1: Management and Coordination WP2: Training needs assessment through desk and primary research WP3: Train the trainers -Develop training material -Transnational “Train the trainers”: develop training material for acting and trainee judges/prosecutors -Assessment WP4: Transnational training for Judges/prosecutors -National pilot trainings -Transnational trainings for trainee and acting judges & prosecutors -Assessment WP5: Dissemination -Dissemination plan and material -Website -European and national dissemination events Type and number of persons benefiting from the project 12 judicial trainers,70 acting judges and prosecutors,50 trainee judges and prosecutors Expected results -132 persons trained in EU law, including trainers who act as multipliers -Targeted, transferable training curricula and materials, available in English and national languages -Increased knowledge on procedural rights for another 120 persons, including multipliers, through dissemination events Type and number of deliverables to be produced -1 handbook -1 TNA -1 set of training material for trainers -1 transnational training workshop for trainers -2 sets of training material for acting and trainee judges/prosecutors -2 workshops piloting training material for acting and trainee judges/prosecutors -1 transnational training for trainee judges/prosecutors -1 transnational training for acting judges/prosecutors -1 interim and 1 final evaluation report -1 website -1 directive booklet -1 leaflet -2 newsletters -4 dissemination events |
