Brenner Northern Access Railway Line

planned

German state railway DB has completed the preliminary planning for the northern access to the Brenner Pass, which involves a new double-track railway line with more than half running through tunnels. The planning enables parliamentary review of the routing alignment decision. The project includes addressing local demands such as noise and vibration protection, routing modifications, and a pedestrian and cycle bridge parallel to the River Inn crossing.
