Brentwood Bay Sewer Project

This project will enhance the capacity to manage wastewater by replacing the Brentwood Bay pump station and construct sewer gravity main to re-route wastewater flows from the Brentwood Bay pump station to the Silverdale pump station. The project would also modify the Silverdale pump station to handle the increased flows from the Brentwood Bay pump station. The project works include: - Replacement of Brentwood Bay pump station with new pumphouse; - Installation of wet-well, chamber, pumps, backup power; - Replacement of approximately 3.5 km of forcemain; - Installation of approximately 800 m of new sanitary gravity main; - Decommissioning Hagan pump station and forcemain; - Reconfiguration of the existing sewer siphon to a gravity system; - Upgrades to the Silverdale lift station pumps; - Necessary appurtenances, civil, electrical and mechanical works; and, - Rehabilitation of roadworks impacted by project works.
