Description | The Bridger expansion pipeline is a proposed oil pipeline project intended to deliver oil from the Alberta tar sands to a pipeline hub in central Wyoming, from where the oil could be transported to refineries as far south as the Gulf of Mexico. The pipeline would carry at least 550,000 barrels of crude oil per day, with potential expansion to over a million barrels a day. The project follows a route similar to the cancelled Keystone XL pipeline and is being developed by Bridger Pipeline, a company owned by the True family, with the Canadian portion to be built by South Bow, a spin-off of TC Energy. |
