The pipeline would be about 435 miles long in Montana and is designed to transport about 550 thousand barrels per day of crude oil. The project crosses private, state, and federal lands, including those managed by the BLM, USDA Forest Service, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The BLM is the lead federal agency reviewing the project to evaluate environmental, cultural, and community impacts. |
