The project involves combining bus repair operations and bus parking with administration space and storage for highway road crew equipment. The expansion will include four bus repair bays, a new welding bay, a wash bay, an expanded administration space, added parts and material storage, and renovations to the existing building The aim of the project is to consolidate vehicle repair operations in the Bridgetown area allowing for a improved accommodation of staff and resources in one location. The project will also include ten EV chargers, a geothermal well to facilitate heating and cooling at the facility, and a backup power generator.
