Brightline Florida Rail Expansion and Debt Management

under financial restructuring

Brightline is a privately operated passenger rail service running between Miami and Orlando, Florida. The company has expanded service to Orlando in recent years, increasing ridership opportunities across South and Central Florida. Currently, Brightline is seeking new investors and negotiating with creditors to manage more than $5 billion in outstanding debt related to its Florida expansion and infrastructure development. The company has reached agreements to temporarily delay interest payments and is exploring options to stabilize operations and improve liquidity. Despite financial pressures, Brightline continues regular passenger service in Florida.
