Description | The project involves extending Bristol Road from Butler Avenue to Park Avenue in New Britain Township, Chalfont, and New Britain boroughs. Additional improvements include minor widening for turn lanes at the Park Avenue and Main Street intersection, realignment of the Park Avenue, Ferry Road, and Callowhill Road intersection, and transitioning the Park-Ferry-Callowhill intersection from a three-way stop-controlled intersection to a signalized intersection with turn lanes for each approach. The goal is to reduce traffic congestion and improve mobility for the public and emergency services by addressing existing roadway deficiencies and expanding the local roadway network. |
