British Airways Airbus A380 Business Class Retrofit

planned

British Airways is undertaking a radical reconfiguration of its Airbus A380 fleet to create the world's largest business class cabin by removing 88 economy seats. The retrofit converts the upper deck into 110 Club Suites business class seats, reduces first class seats from 14 to 12, expands premium economy seats from 55 to 84, and reduces economy seats from 303 to 215. This multi-million-pound investment aims to optimize the aircraft for high-yield premium travel on key routes like London to New York and Los Angeles, ensuring competitiveness against newer aircraft.
