The project involves designing of the British School in Tokyo.The designing work includes:15,000 sq m with 8 levels of outdoor learning and recreational spaces interspersed with trees and nature to host over 800 students from more than 50 countries;Outdoor spaces create social places where students and teachers can collaborate instead of vertically stacked classroom rows; andIn addition to the classrooms, the facility has shared spaces for individual and group study, 2 libraries, a collection of music studios, an art studio, a Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) center, 2 sports fields, a dance studio, a sports hall and an indoor pool.The school aims to offer a British educational curriculum to the international community of Tokyo and open in August 2023 as part of the Azabudai Hills development.
