Description | Cobalt Blue Holdings Ltd is repositioning its Broken Hill Technology Centre (BHTC) to focus on processing lithium-ion battery black mass for battery recycling. This shift supports national efforts to establish domestic battery material recovery capabilities and aims to provide near-term revenue while de-risking feedstock supply for the planned Kwinana Cobalt Refinery in Western Australia. The project includes testwork on black mass samples to recover cobalt, nickel, manganese, lithium, and graphite, and involves partnerships with EcoBatt and Hartree for feedstock supply and product offtake. |
