Two large floating production, storage and offloading vessels (FPSOs) will be the centrepiece of Woodside Energy's Browse gas project in Australia. These newbuild FPSOs will be located on the Calliance and Brecknock fields and the Torosa discovery, receiving gas and condensate via a large subsea production system. The project includes a 900-kilometre subsea export pipeline to the North West Shelf LNG facility. The FPSOs will have production capacity of 1.1 billion cubic feet per day of gas, measure up to 360 metres in length, have topsides weighing about 60,000 tonnes, feature internal turret mooring systems, and include carbon capture and storage modules.
