Bruce C Nuclear Project

The Bruce C project at Bruce Power is a potential new nuclear reactor build as part of Canada's Nuclear Energy Strategy. The strategy aims to expand nuclear energy, support new reactor builds, strengthen uranium and fuel opportunities, and support long-term nuclear waste management. The Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON) has expressed concerns about the lack of consultation and the impact on their territory, which already hosts Canada's largest nuclear facilities and stores much of the country's nuclear waste.
