Bruce C Nuclear Reactors Project

The Bruce C project involves building four new nuclear reactors at the Bruce Nuclear Generating Station on the shores of Lake Huron, Ontario. This will add to the existing eight reactors, increasing the plant's generating capacity by 4,800 megawatts, enough to power 4.8 million homes. The project is currently in the predevelopment phase with a cost-sharing agreement to cover preparatory work including technology selection, workforce planning, site preparation, cooling-water strategies, Indigenous engagement, and regulatory approvals.
