Description | Downer has been awarded the seal and asphalt works package for the Bruce Highway Upgrade – Caloundra Road to Sunshine Motorway (CR2SM) project on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. The project includes major interchange upgrades and expanding an eight kilometre stretch of the highway from four to six lanes, along with the construction of a service road for local traffic to the west of the highway. Over 380,000 tonnes of asphalt will be supplied by Downer’s nearby Bli Bli facility, which will be paved by the time the project concludes in late 2020. |
