The project consists of the extension of the existing water distribution and wastewater collection systems in the Town of Three Rivers (100% new). This project will involve the installation of 1366 m of water main complete with all valves and fire hydrants (as per the Atlantic Canada Water Works Association). This new watermain will provide access to clean water to approximately 42 customers eliminating the need for individual well pumps at each of these locations. This project will also involve the installation of 1548m of gravity sewermain and forcemains and will also include the installation of a lift station, residential and commercial services and manholes as required. This new sewermain will provide collection services to approximately 42 customers eliminating the need for individual septic tanks and field beds at each of these locations. This project aims to eliminate individual well pumps and septic tanks and extend the existing distribution to 80 customers.
