Description | BSCPL Godhra Tollways Ltd was set up to expand to four lanes 87.285 Km stretch from Godhra to Gujarat/Madhya Pradesh border section of NH-59 from km 129.300 to km 215.900 (Project Highway) in the state of Gujarat under NHDP III. NHAI awarded the project to BSCPL Infrastructure Ltd in January 2010 under a 27 BOT(toll) contract. While the project was tendered using the minimum subsidy criteria, BSCPL won by offering to pay a premium of INR 78.3 million. The concession contract was signed in Febraury 2010. The projec cost was estimated to be Rs7850 million (US$171.7 million). Financial closure was achieved on 10 May 2010. Financing comprises Rs5.25bn 15-year and 1-month term loan in debt in debt. The debt was arranged by SBI. The remaining was equity contribution. |
