Buc-ee's First Louisiana Store in Ruston

under construction

Construction of Buc-ee's travel center in Ruston, Louisiana, has begun with the first walls raised and underground fuel tanks installed. The project includes support beams for gas pump island canopies and is on or ahead of schedule. The store is located on Interstate 20 off the Tarbutton Road exit, with a target opening date of April 2027. The city has upgraded the Tarbutton exchange with an $8 million project and is completing a $3 million service road project to mitigate traffic issues. Buc-ee's expects to draw 15,000 vehicles daily and employ 200 workers, generating commerce in the region.
