Description | The Buenos Aires Power Project for Argentina will assist in financing the execution of a program intended to eliminate the power shortage in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan area and to reorganize the electric power supply industry in the area as a necessary condition for the efficient expansion of service in the future. The project will help to accomplish these goals by: 1) consolidating and reorganizing electricity supply organizations; 2) constructing the GBA power station; 3) constructing an 132 kv interconnection ring and substations; and 4) expanding the distribution system. These improvements will eliminate the critical power shortage in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan area and provide more efficient service for the future. |
