The overall aim of BUS-NL is to revitalize the National Qualification Platform, while broadening the scope to reflect the emerging reality and needs of the entire building value chain. The rebooted National Qualification Platform will, facilitated by the BUS-NL consortium, update the Status Quo Analysis and the National Roadmap. BUS-NL will achieve this objective by gathering key national stakeholders while expanding the scope by involving new stakeholders into the National Qualification Platform. BUS-NL will as part of the Status Quo Analysis take into account, the expertise and lessons learned in ongoing and finalized BUILD UP Skills, Construction skills and Erasmus+ projects. In order to accelerate the renovation wave BUS-NL seeks synergy between four transition elements namely energy, material, climate adaptation and digitisation. This by addressing the mix of skills needed within the value chain involved in sustaining of the built environment. The BUS-NL consortium consists of a group of network organizations linking together all relevant stakeholders in the entire building value chain and related upskilling and education systems. We believe that by connecting to existing networks and initiatives on national level with the aim of working together in a co-creative manner, a strong and decisive roadmap with broad endorsement can be delivered. Therefore, the BUS-NL consortium is strengthened from the start by cooperation with several strong national innovation networks in the value chain such as the Gideons Tribe, Stroomversnelling, DNA in de Bouw, the National Roofs Plan, Groene Grachten, Platform KAN and the New Builders movement. In order to involve the manufacturers and wholesale companies we have gathered support from several key players such as HIBIN, Technische Unie and Rensa.
