The Lifelong Learning Platform - European Civil Society for Education (LLLP) is the largest EU-wide formal network of networks raising awareness of the EU agenda in education&training, facilitating dialogue&cooperation between EU NGOs, policy & decision-makers. Since its establishment, it pursues an active dialogue with EU institutions; enables exchanges of best practices, experiences and expertise among practitioners; disseminates information on key issues in the lifelong learning sector; promotes a more democratic, civic and social Europe. LLLP brings together different sectors, fields and actors in education and training to foster cooperation between them. These organisational objectives are fully in line with the general EU interests contributing therefore directly to the EU policy objectives set out in the call for proposal and will continue to be achieved in 2025 through a number of activities, grouped in 4 main pillars: organisational development, capacity building, advocacy & policy, dissemination and awareness raising. It comprises over 40 EU-wide organisations, representing over 50000 educational and training institutions, and associations from formal, non-formal and informal learning: the members reach out to millions of beneficiaries. The impact of LLLP’s communication&dissemination activities is regularly assessed via membership surveys, organisational strategies, access to and impact on policy processes, feedback sessions - involving diverse target groups (LLLP members and their networks, decision&policy-makers at all levels, ENGOs, Think-tanks, social partners, media, citizens). The results of LLLP action in 2025 are embodied in several outputs and deliverables: a national training on LLL policy-making, working groups and task force meetings, stakeholders forum, online and in-person ad-hoc advocacy and awareness-raising tools to name a few.
